Here is a short list with things that Apple's iPod can't do that Sony Ericsson's M600i mobile phone can.
1. Listen to music and podcasts wirelessly over Bluetooth
2. Watch widescreen movies in landscape mode
3. Surf the Internet and read RSS feeds
4. Send and recieve email
5. MoBlogging - write and publish blog posts
6. Open and create Word, Excel and text documents
7. Read PDF files with embedded pictures
8. Organize your life with Calendar and ToDo list
9. Use a spare battery and shift while you are on the move
10. Make and answer phone calls
That's it!
So, how many things can the iPod do that the M600 can't?
Well, uhm... Are there any?

I love the sony-ericsson phones. I think Apple would be wise to learn as much as they can from them. As for your M600 comparison I totally agree.
I can see an "iPhone" being something like the M600 and perhaps if they wanted to make an iPhone mini it could look like this:

I based the pictures on a K600i and the new nano.
Yeah, i think there's a few, but most notibly, how about iPods just work.... Who in there right mind would buy a Sony phone anyway? Plus, what kind of idiot compares a mobile phone to an MP3 player. I think i'll write a blog comparing a DVD Player to Grape Jam, it seems just as logical.
How about re-write this blog, and compare your M600 with the Nokia N80, that would be an interesting read.

Nice picture!
I think Apple will buy Palm to get a good mobile operating system for the "iPhone".
At anonymous:
I think in a year or two no one will buy a mp3 player. Mobile phones can do anything nowadays you know..
It's nice to be wireless anyway :)
